Webauthor considers our many Internet-related awards to be fairly self-serving since they don't focus on the most important part of our business - our customers. However, one award that does stand out – because it focuses on the end-user was the Innovation Network Computerworld Smithsonian Award.

Webauthor’s founders earned this award for their development of a company-wide Intranet for Spherion Corporation (then named Interim Services), a then Fortune 100 organization.
Deloitte and Touche nominated the Web team after conducting an extensive audit of the organization’s IT department and recognizing how the Intranet had helped the organization significantly lower costs, increase productivity and enhance collaboration and communication.
The Intranet created and implemented by the Webauthor founders is now featured in Washington D.C. as part of the Smithsonian Institute’s permanent collection on technology at the pre-eminent repository for the world’s history and achievements.
