NetworkOmni is a global provider of language communication services. Their professionals provide on-demand telephone interpreting 24 hours a day in over 150 languages as well as consecutive and simultaneous on-site interpreting. They also provide translation, localization and publishing services to many Fortune 100 companies.
The problem NetworkOmni presented us with was the need to take information on tens of thousands of translation calls and present details on each transaction to their global client base. Beyond that, reports that were being compiled in several software formats and then distributed manually to clients needed to be not only automated, but customized and presented in real time for each client.
Webauthor took our basic platform and created a customized client portal for NetworkOmni. In addition to allowing customers access to digital recordings for each translation event the new portal allows clients to receive all important data in real time, not delayed for days or weeks while the NetworkOmni staff prepares each report for distribution to the client.
Previously, the reports had been generated in batch mode and printed before being distributed to clients. Now, clients can interactively run reports based on their own criteria and view real-time results, all without having to contact anyone at NetworkOmni. In addition to being able to download most report information directly customers can also see most data in graphical format leading to clearer information on the range of services provided by NetworkOmni.
NetworkOmni’s productivity has increased tremendously now that they don't have to run one-off reports for clients. Customer satisfaction has also increased since clients can now access their data in ways they couldn't before and they can also “slice and dice” the data to more precisely meet their own individual needs.
